据CBC报道，根据市府提供的数据，多伦多的自动超速摄像头投入使用至今，已经开出罚金$3400万。

从2020年7月至2022年10月，自动超速摄像头已经开出560,000张罚单。

拥护该措施的人表示，这些罚金应该被用于促进道路安全计划“ Vision Zero Road Safety Plan”，该计划的重点是减少多伦多街道上与交通相关的死亡和伤害。

“多伦多众多超速的原因是因为道路被设计成像高速一样，但是重新设计也比并不昂贵。”

目前，多伦多一共有50个自动超速摄像头，从明年2月开始，多伦多将继续投入25个新的超速摄像头，这些摄像头将位于：
