【超级生活网 sUperLIFE.ca专讯】注意，从5月29日以后，Buffalo和纽约的加拿大领馆不再处理加拿大境内的TRV申请，29日左右的申请将继续被处理，但新的申请会被转发回Ottawa。这应该是加拿大政府重组计划的一部分，年内政府各职能机关可能都会有大的重组动作，这个等有新消息再说

CIC官网上的heads-up是这样的：

Effective May 29, temporary residents (students and temporary foreign workers) currently residing in Canada with valid status can submit their application for a new temporary resident visa to the Case Processing Pilot Office in Ottawa (CPP-O) by using the Application for a Temporary Resident Visa [IMM 5257] (PDF, 275 kb) form.

就是说，现在加拿大境内的续小签的申请终于可以在境内完成了！不用再寄到境外了！（移民神马的回头有空再说）

对于发到Ottawa的申请人的Eligibility有如下要求：

• A legally admitted temporary resident (student or temporary foreign worker only) in Canada with a Canadian residential address, 首先你要有合法身份（学生，工签持有者）
• your current temporary resident status is still valid, and your existing counterfoil is expired and/or was valid for only one entry, and （这是第二条的补充，你的Study Permit/Work Permit必须有效，你的小签可以过期了或者single-entrance的小签用完了）
• you require a new temporary resident visa to return to Canada in the near future.

在需要提交的文档方面，过程简化了：

• You must have a valid travel document (such as a passport). 交护照，否则填的所有东西都没用，别乐，真有忘记交的
• Two recent passport photographs of each family member are required. Make sure these photographs meet the requirements. 护照照片，如果不确定，可以查要求，或者直接去店里面照
• Enclose proof of payment of the application fee. Your fee will not be refunded, even if your application is not accepted. 坑爹的申请费，Ottawa不接受money order/bank draft了，注意！具体如何支付请移步http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp
• You must provide a copy of your valid study or work permit. 别交原件！万一丢了都没地方哭去

然后大概说一句5257的表，现在这个表是在线填完以后你点一下validate，就会在后面生成barcode，cic在处理的时候直接扫barcode，会大大提高他们的处理速度。

基本上变化就是这样，但是不是说就不需要收入或者存款证明了，只是在网页上没提，但是document checklist还是用的旧的checklist，所以我的建议是，enclose一份存款/收入证明，如果有paystub的话，把paystub放进去，在读证明、verification of employment这些该交的还交，文件越齐全，VO处理起来越容易。你的文件齐全，他就没有理由拒你。

寄送的时候推荐使用Canada Post的XpressPost，费用相比FedEx貌似要低，而且可以track，速度是一样的
